Be careful when swapping votes with people - people aren't always what they seem!!!!

Yes for sure. There are a lot of people out there that want to get you dq'd. Most of them actually go and cheat anyway and try to make themselves look better. That is why I try to make this forum as secure as I can. Even though future updates to the site will reduce this possibility to almost zero.

what do I have to look out for?

I was also wondering, what do the points mean (displayed under the number of posts you have made)?

The points are just a way I can keep track of the number of vote requests you have. Its one of my ways to keep an eye on cheaters but I can't tell the absolute spacifics or they will find a way around it

pretty much you just look for anything suspicious.

What is dq'd?

Please keep announcing when people don't return, if they are in facebook like/unlike picture contests, then we can always press unlike.

UnAgentSecret, it's easy to recognize the people that don't come back to return votes: at the closed contest section their topics are locked. When the contest just ends, I only move that topic, I don't lock it.

Lately I've noticed some people who come, but they do not post/return anything. So I have to verify their last post, not their last visit

Groups like this are fine, especially if you are an Elite Member , however I was asked to exchange before, I gave them my link, then got an email calling me a cheat and had my name plastered all over the competition wall as a cheat. The creators quite rightly rejected this, as in the rules it did say you could use social networking sites to exchange votes, but as I said before, not everybody are who they seem and some will go to any devious lengths to win!!!!

Yep that happens to much! There are always thoes people out there! But I do have to say. That is pretty funny though that they went and did all that and the rules didn't say it was wrong! A great reason to read the rules! Hopefully you got your name cleared up!

I argued my case clear enough and got my prize , but yes, read the rules carefullY!

I see my Competitor Found out where I was By getting the info off my facebook wall, and now I see they Joined today, Posted their contest and just left I have been checking all day, and Working very hard these last few days That I Joined ,What do you do with people like that?

Do you mean they were able to see what you wrote on your wall and found out you were using this place? There is not much we can do unless they were doing something against the rules. Right now, we allow people with the same contests to post on the site.

Their post is removed and the warning bar under their profile will be lowered. That is the rule for anyone that does not return votes. If anyone harasses other people or would try to sabotage someone that is in the same contest as them would be banned.
